Supplies - tube, font, gradient, textures and brushes can be found HERE

 

Unzip the supplies to somewhere you can find them. :o) Double click on the font (BD-TTF-Vergennes) to open it and then minimize it. (This way, you don't have to install it and it will be available when you go to use it in PSP.)  Move the BD-GRADIENT to your gradient folder, the BD-TEXTURE FLEUR, BD-TEXTURE SCRIPT, and BD-TEXTURE-PAISLEY to your textures folder, move the brushes and tips to your brushes folder, move your BD-SBP preset to your Super Blade Pro presets folder and the BD-SBP-TEXTURE1 and BD-SBP-TEXTURE2 to your environments and textures folder that you will find in your Super Blade Pro folders.

 

1. Open a 600 x 600 transparent image.

 

2. Flood fill with white.

 

3. Activate your brush tool and choose BD-BACKGROUND brush.. Your settings should look like this:

Set your foreground to BD-GRADIENT, angle 0, repeats 1, invert unchecked.

Left click on the upper left corner (just a bit away from the edges) and the lower right corner. ***See example for placement***

 

4. Layers > new raster layer. Activate the Selection tool and choose rectangle.

 

Make a rectangle selection approx 2/3 the size of your canvas and flood fill with your blue dragonfly gradient.

 

5. Effects > texture effects > choose BD-TEXTURE-FLEUR with the following settings:

 

6. Effects > plugins > FM tile tools > blend emboss. Use the default settings and click OK

 

7. Effects > 3D effects > drop shadow with the following settings:

Now repeat the drop shadow, only this time, change the vertical and horizontal to -2.

 

8. Selections select none. Using your move tool, move the rectangle to the lower left corner of the layer.

 

9. On your layers palette, set the opacity of this layer to 65.

 

10. Layers > new raster layer. Using your selection tool again, select a rectangle approximately 3/4 the size of the first rectangle (see example)

 

11. Flood fill with the BD-GRADIENT gradient.

 

12. Effects > texture effects > choose BD-TEXTURE-PAISLEY and use the same settings as before.

 

13. Effects > plug-ins > FM Tile Tools > blend emboss. Use the default settings and click OK.

 

14. Repeat the the blend emboss plug-in.

 

15. Repeat the drop shadows as above.

 

16. Selections > select none.

 

17. With your move tool, move this rectangle to the upper right part of your graphic.

18. On your layers palette, set the opacity of this layer to 53.

19. Layers > new raster layer. Using the selection tool, select another rectangle about 2/3 of the previous one. This rectangle should be wider than it is tall.

 

20. Flood fill with the BD-GRADIENT gradient.

 

21. Effects > texture effects > texture. Choose the misc script texture with the same settings as before.

 

22. Effects > plug-ins > FM Tile Tools > blend emboss. Use the default settings and click OK.

 

23. Repeat both drop shadows as above.

 

24. Selections > select none.

 

25. Image > free rotate with the following settings:

26. Using the move tool, move this rectangle to the lower right corner of your layer. (see my example for guide)

 

27. On your layers palette, set the opacity of this layer to 42.

 

28. Open the tube supplied or tube of your choice. Activate the image (not background) layer of the tube. Edit > copy. Close tube. Edit > paste as a new layer on your graphic.

 

29. With your move tool, move the tube to the left side of the graphic so that it blends in with the edge. (See my example for guide)

 

30. Layers > new raster layer.

 

31. Click on your paint brush tool and select BD-ACCENT with these settings:

32. Set your background color to #ebf1f2. Left click in the lower right corner of your graphic.

33. Activate your magic wand with these settings:

Select (right click) the area that you have just stamped with your brush.

 

34. Effects > plug-ins > Flaming Pear > Super Blade Pro. Choose the BD-SBP preset and click ok.

35. Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow with these settings:

 

36. Selections > select none. On your layers palette, set the opacity of this layer to 69.

 

37. Layers > new raster layer

 

38. Activate your paint brush again and select the BD-TEXT brush. Your settings should look like this:

39. Set foreground to black.

 

40. Left click five times on the right side of your graphic (see example)

41. Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow using these settings:

42. Set your foreground and background colors to #1c2d7e

 

43. Left click on a few random spots on your graphic. (See my example as a guide.)

 

44. Activate your text tool with the following settings:

(Note that the text is being created on a vector layer)

 

**Make sure that your foreground and background colors are still set to #1c2d7e**

 

Type your name and click ok.

 

You can stretch and rotate your text as you want it by right clicking and dragging on any of the nodes around the vector box.

 

You can also move the text by clicking and dragging the center node.

 

45. Once your text looks the way you want it, go to Selections > from vector object.

 

46. Layers > convert to raster layer.

 

 

47. Effects > 3d effects > drop shadow with the following settings:

48. Selections > select none.

 

49. Layers > merge > merge all (flatten)

 

50. Image > add borders with these settings:

51. Image > resize. Use the following settings
