Y PSP 9, I am sure that any version would work fine
Y2 Masks of choice or the ones I provided (make sure one is a frame and one is a background)
Y2 Tubes of choice or the ones I provided (make sure one is the actual image and one is an accent)
Y Font of choice
Save these files where they can be easily accessed

Let’s Get Started:

1. Open up your tubes and masks and minimize for now, open a new image 500 x 500, white background
2. Pick two colors from your tube, one dark and one light. I used dark-6183a9 and light-c2c7db. Add these to your swatches so you won’t have to keep typing in the html code.
3. Add a new raster layer and flood fill this new layer with the dark color. Make sure this new layer is highlighted in your layer palette and go to Layers>New Mask Layer>From Image, choose zuzzanna_mask20, and make sure source luminance and invert mask data is checked, click okay. This is what you should have so far:

4. On your layer palette, you should have a background layer and a group layer, in the group layer make sure your mask layer is highlighted. Grab your magic wand tool with the following settings: mode-add, match mode-rgb, tolerance-20, sample merged and continuous checked and feather 0 and anti-alias unchecked. Click inside the frame like to get the marching ants like below:

5. Now go to your layer palette and merge group. DO NOT DESELECT YET. You should now only have two layers on your layer palette, background and group, rename the group layer to frame. Okay make sure the frame layer is highlighted. Go to selections>promote selection to layer. Make sure the promoted selection layer is highlighted. Go to layers>new mask layer>from image. Apply the ivy_rose02 with source luminance and invert mask date checked, click okay. Now you will not be able to see this mask yet, so on your layer palette highlight the frame layer and hit delete on your keyboard, if you did this right you should now be able to see the mask you just applied. If so, selections>select none. This is what you should have now:

6. Now on your layer palette, merge group and rename to frame background. Now let’s organize your layer palette, from bottom to top you need your layers like this: background, frame and frame layer. You will need to move the frame background layer below your frame layer. You should now only have three layers on your palette.
7. Highlight the frame layer on your layer palette and open up your tube that is not going to be the accent. Copy and paste this image as a new layer. Resize the image by 65%, if you are using a different image, the resize may be different. Make sure all layers is unchecked, here are the settings:

8. Mirror this image by going to image>mirror. Position the image at the bottom right of the frame like below:

9. Now go to selections>select all>float>de-float. You should now have marching ants around this image. On your color palette, make black your foreground color. Now get your “Change to Target” brush with the following settings:

Size: circle 225
Density, Thickness, Opacity and Hardness: 100
Step: 10
Continuous: checked
Mode: color

10. With the marching ants still around your image and your change to target brush, hold down the left mouse button and go all around your image until it changes to a grey scale color, selections>select none. This is what your image should look like now:

11. Okay now rename this layer to image and change the opacity to about 55 or whatever you like.
12. Now reopen your tube in PSP and copy and paste as new layer. Resize this image by 85% or if using a diff. image resize to where the top of the image will go over the frame and position/line up the image to the bottom left of the frame.
13. On your layer palette, merge visible all layers. You should now only have one layer on your palette, you can rename this whatever you like.
14. Now open your accent and copy and paste as a new layer. If you are using the flower I provided you do not need to resize. Position this image right below the girl image like below (note you will need to use the deformation tool to rotate it a little):

Once you have it lined up where you want it or like above, add a drop shadow with the following settings:
Vertical and horizontal: 1
Opacity:80
Blur: 5
Color: black

15. Merge all layers so you now will only have 1 layer on your palette. Now we are going to add our text on a path.
16. Go to your color palette and make foreground null and background a darker color than the dark color you picked earlier. Once you do that go to your presets shape tool, choose ellipse with the following settings:

Anti-alias and create as vector, checked
Line style, solid
Width, 1

17. Now draw out a circle on your image, depending on how you want your text, you may need to rotate the circle a little. Since I am adding my text to the top right of the frame, I am going to have to rotate my circle a little. Here’s a screenshot to show you what I am talking about:

Now, with your foreground still null and background still on the darkest color, click on your text tool, this is where you can decide what font and size to use. Once you’ve decided how you want your text to look, go to your circle and put your text tool at the beginning of the circle till you get an a with a curved line under it. Once you get that click and type your text. I used the font Vilvadi at size 30. Here is what you should have so far:

Now, on your layer palette, you should have two layers, one is your merged layer unless you renamed it, and your vector layer, if you have more, hide your vector layer, the one with the circle and text, and merge>merge visible. Now you should only have two layers. Unhide your vector layer if you had to hide it and click on the plus sign next to it. Highlight the ellipse layer and hide it. Convert your vector layer to a raster layer.

18. Now you should have two layers, your merged unless renamed and your raster layer, you can rename this but you will be merging it in a minute. Add a drop shadow of your choice or the same drop shadow that we added to the accent to your raster layer, this raster layer is your text.
19. Now merge layers together to have just one layer on your palette.
20. Add your name anywhere you would like and your copyright info and watermark and you are done.
